Dr. Sullivan was born and raised in Troy, Ohio, and has known she wanted to be an orthodontist since she was young. Her passion began after seeing the confidence a smile transformation brought to her grandfather, and later experiencing that same impact through her own orthodontic treatment. From that point on, she never changed her mind.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition Science from The Ohio State University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She then completed her orthodontic residency and Master of Science in Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University, where her research focused on airway health and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Sullivan is known for her outgoing, friendly personality and her attention to detail. She loves connecting with her patients and takes pride in creating smiles that are not only beautiful, but built to last. She brings both strong clinical experience and a genuine, positive energy to the office, and we’re confident you’ll feel that from your very first visit.
Outside of the office, she enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find her walking, hiking, traveling, cooking healthy meals, or trying new restaurants with friends. She also loves Pilates and staying connected with her family, especially her niece and nephew. She has traveled throughout Europe, attended the World Federation of Orthodontists conference in Brazil, and participated in a service trip in Africa where she taught prenatal nutrition in local communities.
As our practice continues to grow, bringing on a second doctor allows us to better serve our patients by keeping appointments on time and offering more flexibility to fit your schedule. Dr. Sullivan works closely alongside Dr. Nelson, and they regularly review cases together to ensure every patient receives consistent, high-quality care and a seamless experience. Dr. Nelson was very thoughtful and selective in choosing an associate, and we are confident Dr. Sullivan is an exceptional addition to our team.
