We can’t wait to start this journey with you. Dr. Nelson and his staff are people-people (people-persons?). Honestly, we love learning about our patients’ lives and goals. Because orthodontic treatment takes place over several months, it’s important that you choose an office and doctor you enjoy visiting. Our staff is welcoming and fun and will strive to make you feel special each time you come in, which may be less frequent than you’d expect. Our advanced braces systems allow for new patients to be seen every 10 weeks for the first few visits, which is a perk busy parents seem to really enjoy. Once we get closer to finishing, we will want to see you a little more often.
What To Expect On Your First Visit
Expect a warm and competent team to welcome you to the office. Our orthodontic consultations are held in a comfortable and private room, and once you’ve gotten to know us a little bit (and heard a few cheesy jokes from Dr. Nelson), we will discuss your goals and possibly take some x-rays to get a better idea of you or your child’s orthodontic needs. After reviewing all of the diagnostic information, Dr. Nelson will take the time to explain the options and tools available for successful treatment.
In order to give you an accurate cost estimate during your consultation, it is necessary to have all of your insurance information before your visit so that we can determine what amount your insurance will cover (Fill out new patient forms below). If you don’t currently have dental insurance, don’t worry! We offer affordable payment plans. Our treatment coordinator will be happy to answer any financial questions you may have.
If everything sounds good (aka, Dr. Nelson’s jokes have won you over), we will gladly accommodate starting treatment the same day to eliminate another appointment from your busy schedule and get going right away on your perfect smile.
Patient Forms
Not everyone has time to schedule an appointment, take off work, and come to the office for a full exam. If you would like Dr. Nelson to take a quick look, he can provide you with some information about your teeth to help you decide if you want to take the next step and come to the office for x-rays and a complete diagnosis before starting treatment. It is 100% necessary to have an x-ray and an in-office exam to assure that your bite can be corrected and your teeth can be straightened without unforeseen complications! This digital consultation gives you a good idea of how long your case might take and what it might cost. Digital consultations are subject to change unless you provide flawless records for us to make an accurate diagnosis. We hope to see you soon!

We offer 0% interest financing for all of our patients for up to 24 months. We also offer affordable payment plans for longer than 24 months if desired (administrative fees may apply).
